SUMMARY:Song writing with Jhana Allen
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to write songs but not known how to get started? Do you have an existing song that you need help with finishing? Or perhaps you’re a poet with hopes of turning one of your poems into a song. Come along to the Winter Blooming songwriting workshop led by local singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist\, Jhana Allan and find ways to breathe some life into your creative ideas. \nJhana will lead you through techniques she uses\, such as stream-of-consciousness writing and poetry. \nThe workshop will be in 3 stages: The raw\, ‘word-vomit’ uncensored phase\, workshopping phase\, and polishing phase.\nBYO instrument\, but being able to play an instrument is not necessary. There will be a couple of instruments (guitar\, ukulele\, piano) available for you to play around on to aid your process. \n\n\n  \nWinter Blooming has been Produced in collaboration with the University of New England\, Australian GLBTIQ Multicultural Council\, and ACON.  \n                 \n  \nThe Winter Blooming Festival program is subject to changes at any time.
